Every wedding leaves a mark on me. Whether it's the way vows are spoken, a transient glance between two lovers when nobody is watching (except me), or the way a mother and father look when their children appear to truly be independent. This wedding proved to be unique in this regard. Matt is one of my best friends. He's also an incredibly talented photographer, and I feel like I know him better than the majority of people in his life. He is actually going to be one of my groomsmen in a little over a month. On his wedding day the mark left on me was the realization that there is a vastly deeper part of Matt that I have never seen, and that I might never see again. The part of him that is for himself, and for Fallon. From the nervous, quiet car ride over to the Marie Selby Gardens, to watching his first look with Fallon, to their first Dance at Social Bar and Eatery in downtown Sarasota, every time allowed a small opening into a part of Matt's being that I have never witnessed. These photos make me excited to be a photographer in the same way as when I first started shooting, and even more excited to have friends like Matt and Fallon.
